First Filter from The Natural Spa.

First Filter from The Natural Spa.

Play Safe In Your Hot Tub

No matter how many chemicals we used to sanitize, freshen and balance our hot tub water, there are always bacteria feeding, biological waste, contaminants, and biofilm left behind.

That's why EcoSystems helped to develop The Natural product line’s First Filter technology.

Designed For Excellence

Originally designed for Coleman hot tubs today First Filter is used as part of the filtering systems in MAAX spas and American Whirlpool spas.

How It Works

A First Filter is located behind the skimmer door. Filtering the surface water where

metals, all oils, lotions and soap residue collect. These floating contaminants are

captured in the ten micron, Polypropylene, media before reaching the standard

cartridge filter. These harmful proteins that bacteria feed on are collected, so they

can simply be removed from the hot tub water.

Why First Filter?

Because these contaminants are microscopic, they normally pass right through most,

standard cartridge, filter systems, continuing to circulate through-out the hot tub.

The First Filter is polypropylene media, magnetizes contaminants causing them to

adhere to the surface of the filter, allowing free water flow throughout the system.

Now the water you are sitting in is free of all unwanted foreign matter.

You Health, Your Time And Your Money

Gathering these contaminants, in this process, eliminates the need for additional coagulating chemicals, reduces skin irritation, and saves you money.

With oils and biological matter trapped in the First Filter, it's now very easy to remove and rinse away unwanted contamination from your tub.

Brilliantly Simple Design And Straightforward To Use

First Filters flat surface makes cleaning “a snap”, compared to traditional, pleated filters. Simply rinse the discolored First Filter under any spigot or even in the dishwasher. Cleaning should be done weekly, or more frequently, if heavy bather loads occur.

Because some contaminants collected, such as calcium, are white and, in case of biofilm, can even be transparent, we suggest replacing the First Filter every 90 days, even if contaminants are not readily visible.

Peace Of Mind

With First Filter installed, you can rest easy knowing that you, your family, and your friends, can enjoy a contaminant free, bio safe, spa environment.

We're Always Here For You
